Constitutional referendum in Belarus: Turnout at 6.19% on first day of early voting

On the first day of early voting for the constitutional referendum in Belarus, some 6.19% of eligible voters have cast their ballots, BelTA learned from the Central Election Commission (CEC) of Belarus.
An estimated 6.26% of voters took advantage of the early voting opportunity in Brest Oblast. The turnout in Vitebsk Oblast stood at 6.37%, in Gomel Oblast at 8.75%, in Grodno Oblast at 4.14%, in Minsk Oblast at 6.38%, in Mogilev Oblast at 5.08% and in the city of Minsk at 5.58%.
